Let's attack aggressively!

Because living with Ralph(the yellow bug fellow in the back, who you will be seeing more of) in a dilapidated crack closet of an apartment may have been fun, living in a white trash palace with :iconmechadaveo: was an ADVENTURE~

Also of note is that I inked parts of this with two kinds of brushes, and I expected it to bleed horribly since it was in a sketchbook I bought in a grocery store and yet it didn't. Whereas my fancy hardback sketchbooks will bleed if you look at them funny. Lessons learned~

ALSOALSO. This'll be #74, "Video Game" on that neglected list of ...whatever.

WELL, this takes me back. First NES game I remember getting (Mario and Zelda sorta just appeared in our home :U)

Anywayyy... parody value aside, there's a few ways you could have improved the character placements. To the layperson, Ralph sorta looks like he's part of the team (maybe that was intentional? if so, then the Contra setup seems to work against the idea).

Shading is okay, like on the folds of your sleeves, but the image is looking pretty lifeless without additional highlights like on your vest buttons, your glasses, the spray bottle; anything with a round curve could use more bling.

As far as graphics go, the 'flaming D' feels a bit weak; it just needs a fatter, more brushstroke feel, y'know?

All in all it's a nice tribute to a classic (and our being OLD AS THE HILLS); just needs some more glimmer of its own.
